Joel Kanter, MSW, LCSW-C is in private practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a Consulting Editor of the Clinical Social Work Journal and has been recognized as a Distinguished Practitioner by the National Academy of Practice in Social Work. His seminal article on clinical case management has been cited in over 300 publications in the U.S. and abroad, and his book Face to Face with Children: The Life and Work of Clare Winnicott was published by Karnac in 2004.
